Villa Fengari

Appropriately named Villa Fengari (moon in Greek) this crescent shaped architectural villa is nestled among the century-old olive trees, seemingly bringing nature from outside to the indoors.

This three-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom property is the epitome of summer living in the Greek countryside, with a large courtyard connecting the two living spaces. On the one side there is the living room, kitchen and indoor dining area, with an outdoor staircase leading to an en-suite double bedroom upstairs. On the other side of the courtyard one can find the two other bedrooms, both with their own bathroom and both with independent entrances from the garden.

The philosophy of the house is to maximize the space for outdoor living. The large courtyard, covered with a colourful pergola which plays with the sunshine throughout the day, is fully equipped for outdoor lounging and dining, overlooking the olive grove and the Greek countryside. The terrace upstairs has a beautiful view of the valley and the sunset over the bay of Methoni in the distance. A small lounge area, an outside extension of the living room, completes the options and makes sure there is always a quiet place to read a book.

A unique circular swimming pool completes the luxurious yet minimal layout.

The villa is located at 600m from the small village of Evangelismos, which has a small shop, a rural café and a Taverna famous in the region for its grill and live music every weekend.

The house is a 10 min drive from the centre of Finikounda with its shops, restaurants and beach. There are several beautiful sandy beaches nearby, the closest being a 5 min drive. The nearest golf course is a 30 min drive.

The villa is designed by renowned LASSA architects and the land produces its own olive oil (available for guests).
